Do your own Attenborough voiceover

I think I once wanted to be a nature filmmaker. Can't remember what happened to that, but on my 34th birthday, I finally shot some footage of a cool animal.

This is a Victoria's Riflebird and it came onto our verandah every morning where we were staying in Lake Eacham, north Queensland. It was trying to impress the ladies of course, but they were more interested in our breakfast scraps. Love can be hard.

Well you were about 9 years old when we took you to Watford Town Hall to a lecture by David Attenborough. You loved it all. At the end there was the usual 'any questions' bit and you put your hand up but, being small, you were ignored amongst the hundreds of grown ups until the very end. At last you got your chance! 'What's the most amazing mating display you have ever seen?' When everyone stopped laughing the great man told you it was a bird of paradise - not so different from a Victoria's Riflebird!
